About Us
NCS Power is located in Vancouver, Washington, just across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon. NCS began as an engineering firm specializing in power management and battery control modules. We have been on the cutting edge of power management technology for over 23 years, and hold many patents in this area. Using that experience as a basis, NCS Power developed the only ETL certified, LM 79 performance certified, 1598-B Approved Retrofit T8 LED replacement available on the market today.
At NCS Power we take pride in our designs and products. Our goal is to stimulate the widespread integration of energy efficient systems that reduce our carbon foot print while providing future generations with the means to reduce their heavy reliance on energy.
Since 2000 NCS Power has been on the cutting edge of power management in the battery industry and now with LED clean technology. We developed battery systems for projects ranging from medical applications to military UAVs. NCS is now finding ways to increase LED performance while decreasing the amount of energy needed. NCS has successfully parlayed their deep bench of power management expertise from battery technology to LED technology.
Power management, the Achilles heel of LED lighting, dictates how long an LED light will last. The highest quality LEDs will last for 100,000 hours of continuous use, while most power supplies fail after 50,000 hours. NCS Power has created a power supply that will last up to 100,000 hours, maximizing the energy savings of LED lighting.
Along with developing power management components of LED lighting, NCS is also addressing the quality of LED lights to increase their useable life.
